Steve King has worked in the motor vehicle radiator trade for over 30 years.
Since starting Regal Rads he has specialised in vintage and veteran motors. Some past jobs include a Bullnose Morris, an Austin 7, a V12 Lagonda, a 1932 cord ‘golfer’s limousine’ originally owned by Cary Grant, a Railton, a 1912 Bean and an E-Type Jaguar. Other specialist work includes racing cars, hill climbers, drag racers and grass track motorcycle radiators.
Some of his customers restore military vehicles such as Willys Jeeps, Chevy Bomb Carriers, German Stover Halftracks, Kettenkrads (halftrack with a motorcycle front) and World War II German Panther Tanks.
He can repair, rebuild, re-core, or supply new radiators and heaters for most vehicles including plant, agricultural and commercial. As an additional service he repairs fuel tanks, oil coolers and heater matrixes for diesel or petrol vehicles, solders fuel pipes, battery leads etc. and supplies number plates.
